AFCA Tournaments
Association Tournaments
The floor curling season runs from September 1st to May 31st.
The Directors notify the Association as to their preferred tournament dates for the upcoming season.
Theses dates are then collated into the season's AFCA Tournaments Schedule.
The 'Tournament Schedule', for viewing and for printing, is posted under the 'TOURNAMENTS' page.
Association Tournaments Registration
To participate in an AFCA Tournament, simply call the Contact Person for that tournament.
The Contact Person is specified on the tournament schedule for each tournament.
Registration works on a first come basis.
The Contact Person needs your Team name and your Team's phone number. Generally, a Team's name is the Skip's name, but it does not have to be. The Contact Person simply needs a name and number for each team.
The Contact Person will let your team know when your teams' first draw is for the bonspiel.
Association Tournaments Cost
Each team pays $40 for its team (or $10 per team member) to play in an AFCA sanctioned tournament.
This money is collected by the Director or Club Contact on behalf of the Association.
A luncheon is provided during an AFCA tournament.
The member club charges separately for their luncheon for the tournament.
